"Every so often a product comes onto the market that is an absolute must for the reef aquarist.
Some 4 months ago, I started to see reports of a new product called JoesJuice which not only kills Aiptasia and Majanos but is also totally reef safe. I was overjoyed when the UK distributer, Mr. Nick Crabtree of Coral Culture sent me a sample for review.
So firstly, I indentified one of these little beasts. Then I turned off the powerheads, filled my syringe and asked my good lady to inject (feed) a little of JoesJuice over the mouth of the anemone. As usual the Aiptasia withdraw into the rock. After a couple of minutes it had disintegrated and was being washed out of its hiding place by the powerheads being restarted.
A week later there was no sign of that or any other Aiptasia returning.
This product is a must for all reef keepers. I will defintely have some on stock just in case"
